Alliant Technologies' goal is to deploy software and control systems that are scalable, repeatable, and exceed customer expectations for performance. Alliant's new building has 27,000 square feet devoted to office use and an additional 18,000 square feet for warehouse and distribution. Kerr-Greulich was selected to provide the MEP design.

Highlights of the KGEI design include:
  • Variable air volume systems were used through out the office space to maximize occupant comfort.
  • Pressurization heating was used in the warehouse to provide efficient, effective temperature control in the winter and ventilation throughout the summer.
  • Water saving, low flow, sink and toilet fixtures were also included for water use conservation.
  • Fully fire suppressed and alarmed.
  • Light fixtures are controlled by occupancy sensors in each office / space and also tied into the building automation management system.
  • The building is LEED certified in accordance with United States Green Building Council guidelines.
