Living Hope Baptist Church
Bowling Green, Kentucky
Living Hope is a missional church filled with imperfect people who have found that doing life together under God's grace is the way to go. The church is expanding their facility to provide different opportunities for the ministries of Living Hope to accomplish their goals of helping people Get to God, Grow in Christ, and Give to others. Kerr-Greulich has supported those goals by providing MEP engineering and design services for the building expansion.
Some engineering highlights include:
Minimal variation in lamp types for ease of maintenance.
Energy efficient lighting design utilized fluorescent and metal halide sources that have long lamp life.
Life cycle cost analysis provided to owners with options on different methods to address the education wing that will be built in phases over ten years.
The Multipurpose Room was designed for gymnasium as well as Worship Center use. Four systems were developed to address these varying needs with demand control ventilation, custom building automation staging, and dehumidification sequencing.
Air quality improvements were designed for the existing Fellowship Hall.
PVC and PEX domestic water piping with distribution manifolds, resulting in cost savings and ease of installation.
