Papa John's International Headquarters
Office Building- Data Center
Louisville, Kentucky
Papa John's is the recognized quality leader of the pizza category and currently owns or franchises over 3,000 restaurants worldwide. For nine consecutive years (1999 - 2008), Papa John's has been rated number one in customer satisfaction among all national pizza chains. That demand for quality and attention to customers is also shared by Kerr-Greulich. We have worked with Papa John's for many years including franchise stores, their corporate headquarters, and their expanded data center constructed in 2009 including:
A data center utilizing a raised floor system, supporting all LAN's within the building and serving as a central communication point for stores and commissaries across the country.
Kerr-Greulich designed the original data center that was part of the initial building construction and has recently completed an upgrade project that implements two 200-KVA UPS's, with planned expansion for two additional 200-KVA units, two of which are dedicated to current and future process loads. The remaining two will provide N+1 redundancy in case of a failure. Emergency distribution is supported by a pad-mounted 750 KW, diesel-powered generator system.
Liebert SiteScan is used for centralized monitoring and control. SiteScan provides a web-based user interface for centralized oversight and remote monitoring of data center conditions. Features include real-time, local and remote, monitoring and control; data analysis tools and graphing; trend analysis and reporting; and event logging and reporting.
Branch circuit level monitoring is used for centralized monitoring of low-level process loads.
Mechanical design provides for four 30-ton and four 5-ton CRAC units.
Fire protection was provided by an FM200 extinguishing system and a pre-action dry sprinkler system.
